- Membership Duration & Payment Options
- All memberships are a fixed-term 12-month membership contract. Your membership commences on the start date (the date you sign up for membership) and continues for a minimum period of 12 full calendar months (“Minimum Term”), unless terminated earlier in accordance with these terms.
- Commitment and No Early Cancellation (General Rule): You commit to the full 12-month Minimum Term and agree not to cancel the membership during this period except for the specific reasons set out below. This is a binding fixed-term agreement, and you remain liable for all payments due during the Minimum Term even if you stop using the facilities.
- Payments are due monthly in advance via Direct Debit (or upfront annually if chosen) for the full Minimum Term.
- The monthly fee is as per your chosen membership tier mentioned in section 4 (or annual equivalent if prepaid), plus any applicable joining fee.
- We will continue to collect payments until the end of the Minimum Term. If a Direct Debit fails or is cancelled without valid reason, the outstanding balance for the remainder of the Minimum Term becomes immediately due as a debt.
- Automatic Renewal / Rollover: At the end of the 12-month Minimum Term, your membership will not automatically renew on the same fixed terms. Instead, it will convert to a rolling monthly membership (with one month’s notice to cancel) unless you notify us in writing at least 30 days before the end of the Minimum Term that you do not wish to continue, or we both agree to a new fixed-term arrangement.
- Early Termination by You – Allowed Circumstances: You may cancel early (with notice as specified) only in these exceptional cases, subject to providing reasonable evidence:
- Serious illness or injury preventing use of the facilities (supported by medical evidence from a qualified doctor).
- Permanent relocation more than [e.g., 25–30] miles from the club (proof of new address required).
- Redundancy / significant financial hardship (e.g., loss of employment, supported by evidence such as redundancy letter or benefits confirmation).
- We reserve the right to review and approve such requests; approval is not guaranteed.
- Early Termination Process and Fees: If early cancellation is approved under the above exceptions:
- You must give [e.g., 30 days’] written notice.
- No refunds for unused months unless the termination is due to our breach.
- Our Right to Terminate: We may terminate your membership immediately if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms (e.g., misuse of facilities, abusive behaviour, non-payment), with no refund for the remaining term.
- Cooling-Off Period: You have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (if signed up remotely/online) starting from the date you enter the contract, during which you can cancel for a full refund (minus any services already used).
- Your membership is personal to you and is strictly non-transferable.
- Payments and Billing
- Monthly fees are collected by recurring direct debit.
- Annual upfront memberships must be paid in full at sign-up.
- Freezing is permitted for medical reasons (min. 1 month, max. 3 months per year) with supporting evidence.
- Club Closures and Facility Changes
- The Club may close for up to 10 days per calendar year for essential maintenance, staff training, or other operational reasons. These dates will be communicated in advance.
- We reserve the right to close the Club or individual facilities for longer periods if required for major repairs or refurbishment.
- Individual facilities (courts, spa, bar, etc.) may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or repairs without compensation.
- Other Charges
- Certain services (e.g. private coaching, group classes, Reformer Pilates, events, racket hire, etc.) carry additional charges.
- We reserve the right to introduce or vary charges for any activity or service at our discretion.
- Court Booking Rules
- All bookings are made via the Padel Vault website or Padel Mates app.
- Advance booking as per membership tier. Pay-and-play: max 7 days in advance.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice incur the full court fee.
- Pay-and-Play (Non-Members)
- Double court (4 players): £60 per 60 minutes
- Single court (2 players): £30 per 60 minutes
- Payment taken at time of booking.
- Guest Policy

- The same guest may not use more than 3 passes in any 12-month period.

- Children under 16 must always be supervised by an adult.
- Liability
